Solar Sales Rep­re­sen­ta­tive


  • Sales of res­i­den­tial and com­mer­cial pho­to­voltaic systems
  • Sched­ul­ing and attend­ing cus­tomer home vis­its to make the sale, fol­low­ing up on sales vis­its, and clos­ing sales
  • Main­tain flex­i­bil­ity in sched­ul­ing sales vis­its — day­time, evenings, or week­ends planned around cus­tomer availability
  • Con­sis­tently uti­lize CRM (Sales­force) and pro­fi­ciently log all activ­i­ties through­out the entire sales process
  • Pre­pare weekly feed­back and fore­cast reports
  • Par­tic­i­pate in weekly meetings/​teleconferences


  • Min­i­mum of two years of rel­e­vant work expe­ri­ence (installing pho­to­voltaic sys­tems preferred)
  • Abil­ity to close cus­tomers within a short sales cycle
  • Must have a clean dri­ving record
  • Must have strong writ­ten and ver­bal com­mu­ni­ca­tion skills
  • Con­fi­dent leader who has the abil­ity to work independently
  • Dis­ci­plined, self-​motivated work­ing style
  • Desire to be on the cut­ting edge of the solar industry
  • Can­di­dates must have a good under­stand­ing of basic sales and mar­ket­ing tac­tics, an out­go­ing per­son­al­ity, and a will­ing­ness to work with the pub­lic on a daily basis

Job descrip­tion

  • Pro­vide tech­ni­cal expertise
  • Ensure com­pli­ance with com­pany, indus­try, trade, reg­u­la­tory, and juris­dic­tional safety stan­dards, prac­tices, and codes
  • work to increase sales vol­ume and cus­tomer base, ser­vice exist­ing cus­tomers, and gen­er­ate repeat sales
  • pen­e­trate cor­po­rate part­ner­ships for refer­rals and gen­er­ate refer­ring partners

Expe­ri­ence and Edu­ca­tion

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Min­i­mum 2 years experience
