Licensed Elec­tri­cian


  • Elec­tri­cal License (2 years minimum)
  • Knowl­edge of NEC and City build­ing codes
  • Must have strong writ­ten and ver­bal com­mu­ni­ca­tion skills
  • Con­fi­dent leader who has the abil­ity to work independently
  • Dis­ci­plined, self-​motivated work­ing style
  • Expe­ri­enced with gen­eral con­struc­tion, power tools
  • Desire to be on the cut­ting edge of the solar industry
  • min­i­mum of five years of rel­e­vant work experience
  • Pre­vi­ous expe­ri­ence installing pho­to­voltaic sys­tems preferred

Job descrip­tion:

  • esti­mat­ing, con­struct­ing, installing, repair­ing and main­tain­ing elec­tri­cal services;
  • plan­ning, coor­di­nat­ing and super­vis­ing the work of assigned helpers.
  • Pro­vide tech­ni­cal expertise
  • Pre-​installation job site review
  • Cre­ate job parts list
  • Ensure suc­cess­ful oper­a­tion of fin­ished systems
  • Per­form skilled main­te­nance, instal­la­tion, repair, and trou­bleshoot­ing work involved with elec­tri­cal solar energy
  • Read schemat­ics, and elec­tri­cal draw­ings to deter­mine effi­cient instal­la­tion and repair;
  • Diag­nose causes of elec­tri­cal prob­lems or fail­ures for the pur­pose of sys­tem repair;
  • Ensure com­pli­ance with com­pany, indus­try, trade, reg­u­la­tory, and juris­dic­tional safety stan­dards, prac­tices, and codes

Expe­ri­ence and Edu­ca­tion:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Min­i­mum 2 years experience

Required Skills, Abil­i­ties, Soft Skill Fac­tors:

  • NAB­CEP cer­ti­fi­ca­tion required
  • Must be able to multi-​task
  • Excel­lent writ­ten and ver­bal com­mu­ni­ca­tions skills are a must.
  • Pos­sess ini­tia­tive and abil­ity to work inde­pen­dently with min­i­mal direction.
  • Abil­ity to work and com­mu­ni­cate effec­tively in a team environment.
  • Must be able to rec­og­nize and pro­tect con­fi­den­tial doc­u­ments and/​or information.
  • Abil­ity to prob­lem solve and negotiate.
